Apricot Festival – exhibition of apricot varieties, competitions. The area around Tutrakan is the largest apricot producer in Bulgaria and this is the most suitable place to hold such a celebration.
The holiday was first organized in the summer of 2003. The holiday traditionally includes an exhibition of different varieties of apricots from the surrounding area, competitions for the best apricot fruit, the best apricot brandy, the most delicious apricot cake and apricot jam, a competition for the prince and princess of the holiday, fun games and a concert.
